Saturday, December 12th, 2009We’ve been out and about today (Yeovil to be precise) to pick up the pneumatic system for Wheely Big Cheese. This has saved us an awful lot of time in putting the machine together as it’ll all just bolt in.

Wheely Big Cheese - Build Diary (Part 1)
Monday, June 8th, 2009Wheely Big Cheese is a robot that requires very little introduction. It competed in series 4 (semi-finalist) and series 5 (semi-finalist) of Robot Wars as well as Robot Wars Extreme.
There were in fact two Wheely Big Cheese robots built, the first being dismantled when the second was built. The chasis for this lay in someones garage for many years before being bought by Team Hydra in September 2008. The pictures below show the condition it was in when we bought it.
